Shea butter moisturiser bars.

I’ve been wanting to make my own Shea butter moisturiser since I bought a jar in London many moons ago. I haven’t quite found the right recipe for that just yet, but here is a simple bar that does the trick for me in the meantime. If you know a good cream one- hit me up! Keen!

• 2 Tablespoons of Shea butter.

• 2 Tablespoons of grated beeswax. (Find yourself a friend with a hive. 😉)

• 2 Tablespoons of solid coconut oil.

• Essential oils of choice (I used 5 drops of lemon and 5 drops of Frankincense).

Melt in a bowl in the microwave on 30 second bursts, stirring between each.

Or-

Melt in a stovetop over low heat in a small saucepan, stirring until melted.

Pour into small silicone moulds or ice cube Trays. Place in the fridge until solid.

They heat up with your body heat, so rub them all over your body, put them back in the fridge and then rub the residue into your skin.
